Who are you?
As Junior Controller within an international scale-up, you can adapt to the organization’s needs. At eLabNext, we have ambitious growth plans, but we are still a relatively small organization. This means you will have a wide range of responsibilities that will become more specialized as the organization grows. You are an entrepreneur and pioneer within the company, and your work significantly impacts our success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Controlling, Accounting, or similar.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- You are driven, analytically strong, communicatively skilled, and proactive.
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
What will you do?
As a junior controller, you will take a key role in managing and executing the order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay processes. You support in preparing and analyzing management reports, providing valuable insights for data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you actively work on improving (financial) processes, contributing to a more efficient work environment.
Key tasks:
- Responsible for month and year-end closing activities.
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Management of order data in our CRM system.
- Generating sales invoices and managing accounts receivable.
- Supporting the procurement process, including processing purchase invoices and setting up payments.
- Assisting with tax returns, including VAT and ICP returns.
- Performing ad hoc analyses and reports to support decision-making.
- Initiating and implementing improvements, such as successfully setting up a BI system.
