As a Buying / Merchandising Intern, you’ll provide critical buying administration and operational support to the Buying teams.

You could be the right person for this role regardless of your age, nationality, religious beliefs or gender identification. ASICS welcomes diversity in our people, their backgrounds and life experiences.

Based in our Hoofddorp office, Amsterdam Area, you’ll support the Buying team in doing regular analysis to help us pick products in the right quantities and at the right time maximizing sell-in and sell-out opportunities. As part of the role you’ll:

• Manage samples for all categories, tracking down samples and sending samples to various parties.
• Support building seasonal strategies by using your analytical skills.
• Update and create in-season performance reports.
• Work on competitors analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the buying team.

More about you…

• Must be enrolled in University for the entire duration of the internship.
• Currently located in the Netherlands
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong creative, presentation and visual skills.
• Great analytical skills.
• Interest for the sport industry.
• Fluency in English, any other European language is considered a plus.
