About you and this role
We have an exciting opportunity for a EMEAI Business Finance Manager to be located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.
As an EMEAI Business Finance Manager, you will provide financial reporting and analysis to a business using specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Finance. You will interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices based on financial analysis. You will also provide reporting and insights for senior management to make business decisions based on financial performance indicators.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and financial council in the region to drive better decision making and overall business outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Quarterly/monthly commercial estimate and progress tracking within the month
  • Annual business planning
  • Contract review and recommendations
  • Pricing analysis
  • Customer profitability analysis
  • Margin over raw materials
  • Working capital management (Accounts Receivable and Inventory)
  • Track spending for commercial team in region
  • Regional P&L analysis/reporting/monitoring
  • Financial assessment and tracking of the R&D portfolio and innovation sales
  • Supporting Customer Experience including customer distinction activities
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • An MBA (or equivalent), or a higher education is preferred.
  • A degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • The ability to work across functions to enhance customer experience.
  • The role is unique given the direct link to commercial support. Being particularly attuned to the commercial/marketing mindset is very important. Someone with good business acumen, strong communication skills and sound technical financial capability would be ideal.
  • Experience both within and outside of finance is valued.
